Steve Jobs and Dennis Ritchie RIP

Nintendo 3DS right thumbstick attachment announced.  Also announced, a game that will use said thumbstick.  The game is scheduled to come out in 2017. 

Back to the Future, Part II: The Shoes sold on eBay for charity (Parkinson's research).  They're all sold out, so if you want some, you'll need a Delorean, which you could then trade for the shoes.  Also, apparently the shoes only have a battery live of 4 hours, and not 6 as reported by me.  To distract you from my mistake, enjoy this commercial:

3DS Price slashed by $80.  Now you'll be able to afford all those 3DS games that don't exist and have probably been cancelled.  Like Megaman Legends 3.  I am looking so foward to not being able to buy that one ever.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 announced.   You should probably hold out for Ulitmate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Arcade Edition Turbo Hyper Fighting + Jazz Hands edition.  I still haven't forgiven Marvel for Spider-man 3.  Putting Nightcrawler into the game would help to put them back in my good books.

Ok, I didn't actually review anything this time.  I did talk about my Orlando vacation, and memorable rides from Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios.  Pretty much everything I missed out on the last time I went (Episode 38 - Don't listen to it).  I also talk about going to the Florida Anime Experience, a con that made its debut this year.

It's the penultimate annual new years episode. Thanks a lot, Mayans.  Anyhoo, I go over my prediction for 2010, make new predictions for 2011, tell you what to look forward to this year, and give out meaningless awards to things I like.  I also provide mini-reviews for Uncharted 2 and No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle.

Nintendo 3DS Priced, Dated.  It will also come in a 4D variant.  The 4th dimension is fun. You should visit sometime. 

Sony NGP announced, not priced, dated.  It's like the PSP, but more sensitive, for the hardcore gamer with a heart of gold.  Which they can use to buy one.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 coming next winter.  Do you l'Cie what I see?  That joke would have worked better if I said, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is coming next Christmas, but instead, I elected for factualness instead of humorousness.  As usual.

Canadian Penny may be phased out.  Canadian Inspector Gadget safe for the time being.  Also, when you outlaw pennies only outlaws will have pennies.  Pennies don't kill people, guns kill people.  Also, pennies dropped from the Empire State Building kill people.

Fractale simulcast stopped until Funimation eliminates all illegal file sharing. A truly sisyphean task if there ever was one.  Oh, waiit, mission accomplished.  Streaming is back.

Sega Urinal Games in Japan  - I'm hoping it has Pac-Man Championship Edition DX leaderboards.  That way, if you bump someone's high score, you p*** them off in more way than one.  That was terrible.

Yes, I finally have 100 episodes under my belt and it only took me four years.  Boy, if I had a penny for every episode I did, I'd have a loonie.  A Saskatchewan Roughriders' Loonie, in fact.   And I do.  Woo!  Of course, if I could only have a penny for every good episode, I think I'd owe money.   Just like George Lucas owes me for the Prequels.

Anyways, because of this Achievement of 100 eppys being unlocked, I take time in this episode to reminisce about the past, realize that this show's past wasn't all that great, and look forward to the future.  I also contemplate ways that I can improve things around here.  For starters, I can do less reminiscing and just start miniscing more.  Better miniscing. The kind of miniscing they did in the good old days, when men were men and women were secretaries.  I've been watching a lot of Mad Men lately.  I also talk about Gamecation 2010 and review Sin and Punishment: Star Successor for the Wii.

Yes, the much vaunted Gamecation 2010 is here.  I've taken a week off from work and plan to squander it by playing video games.  A lot.  I plan to finish at least four games within five days.  There are some who said it couldn't be done (e.g. Donny) but I am set to prove them wrong.  Them being Donny.

Here are the games I plan to play from start to completion:

• Sin and Punishment 2: Star Successor
• No More Heroes 2
• Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands
• Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

All the while, I will be tweeting my progress at http://twitter.com/Gamecation2010.  Afterwards, I will be doing a podcast on my experiences and my thoughts on each game.  I also have a regular episode of UAP that is half edited that I hope to get out soon as well.

If I get time, I will play more games.  I may put up a poll so you can vote on the last game for me to attempt.

If this test run goes well, I plan to do this next year as well, but with video streaming.  Unfortunately, I was unable to get that set up in time for this run through.
